Playball offers a multi-skill physical development programme aimed at children aged between 2 and 9. The programme was developed over 25 years ago and is constantly reviewed and updated by a team of teachers, physical therapists and sports coaches. All our coaches are highly qualified and attend regular seminars and re-training workshops.

Our aim is to encourage confident sports participation in a fun and safe environment (all coaches fully insured and Garda vetted).

Classes are taught in an organised and structured manner. The physical and social benefits are huge: development of physical strength, balance, co-ordination, motivation and spatial awareness together with increased concentration and confidence.

Class sizes are small and programmes are specifically designed for the individual age groups. Programmes available for children aged 2-9 years.


We find that children who attend Playball display:

• increased confidence and independence
• motivation to want to succeed
• persistence and courage to keep on trying
• a mature attitude to both winning and handling disappointment
• the ability to take part in, not just one, but multiple sports
• a love for physical activity and sport

The standard fee for a 2 hour party is €170  for up to 20 children.  Additional children are €5 each.

The standard fee for a 1 hour party is €100  (as above)

Hall hire is extra, cost can vary. Approx €60 for the 2 hours.

The parties run for usually two hours and includes food time. We do parties for 4 - 12 year olds with a wide variety of fun and games to suit the particular age group.

Included in the Playball party package is Playball Party Invitations, a Playball gift such as a t-shirt for the Birthday boy/girl and various other spot prizes for the other children.

12.45 pm           Birthday boy/girl(s) and family arrive
1.00 pm           Party guests arrive and games begin with Balloon Volley Ball
1.10 pm           Clean up the bedroom
1.15 pm           Ducks & Hippo
1.25 pm           Cups and Saucers
1.40 pm           Fish and Sharks (Party child + two others) - beach and island
1.50 pm           WATER BREAK
2.00 pm           Obstacle course (zig zag, walk the beam, under, over, jump over sticks, hop scotch)
2.15pm            Chariot race
2.30 pm           Savouries and drinks + cake presentation and pictures - includ. Happy Birthday Song
2.40 pm           Rats & Bats
2.50 pm           Finish up Circle and gift for birthday child and Cake* and Goodies.
3.00 pm           Home time.....coats and party bags*...
